Norbert Stiller first started carving frames for pictures during the 1960s, he was well known for
the quality of his work and the great skill and craftsmanship he brought to every project he was a
part of.
Stiller Designs was formed in 1995 by Norbert Stiller (my dad) with the express purpose
of producing high quality, well designed and well made pieces specialising in frames made of
wood.
This family owned and run company has been making hand carved frames since that time which have
been purchased by art dealers, galleries, museums, auction houses and private collectors. Our
frames have ended up all over the world.
Working from either our samples or a clients own frame/samples we can accommodate both
contemporary and period or traditional styles. We can match with what the client already owns
or design something completely new.
We offer an alternative to mass production by producing bespoke pieces for clients that
value the uniqueness and attention to detail that only a true craftsman can provide.
